Since we first launched on October 27, 2020, EverGreen Dreams has been rooted in a bold, unwavering belief: that young Black women deserve access, opportunity, and support—not just to survive but to shine. In 2025, as attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion escalate across the country, our mission is more urgent than ever. We don’t just fund scholarships—we fight for possibility. We cultivate endless opportunities. And we keep showing up.

As the year comes to a close, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement as I reflect on the incredible milestones we’ve achieved together in 2024. This year has been transformative for our organization, our scholarship recipients, and our mission to empower young Black women through education and opportunity. None of this would have been possible without your unwavering support and belief in our vision.

If you’re anything like me, the mid-year point is a wonderful time to reflect on the successes of the first six months of the year and look forward to what’s to come for the rest of the year. You have contributed so much to our success since we started on October 27, 2020 and I want to share encouraging news from the work you’ve made possible in 2024!
